  1. Sin Hwa Dee Foodstuff – The owner of ‘Sin Hwa Dee Foodstuff’ is Jocelyn Chang. When she was 21 years old, she lost her father to a long suffering illness. Her family’s business started falling apart and like any other brave person, she tried to pick herself up. Jocelyn had five siblings and she had to take care of them on her own. The industry favored men but Jocelyn had many innovative ideas that would push their business forward.

So, paying no heed to the people who tried to bring her morale down, she marched forwards with her head held high. Currently, there are 200 people under her and her products get exported to around 30 countries. The primary clients of her company include big names like Hyatt and The Ritz Carlton.

  1. Happy Chemo – Ginger Johnson is the founder of ‘Happy Chemo’. When Ginger was 31, she got diagnosed with breast cancer. She already had 2 children and was 5 months pregnant. But instead of taking her condition badly and falling apart, Ginger chose to be optimistic and started ‘Happy Chemo’.

Happy Chemo offers chemotherapy and treatments to patients dealing with cancer and even offers discounts. It’s not just a medical institution but a place when support is provided to people who suffer from this disease.

  1. Spiritual Biz Moms – The owner of ‘Spiritual Biz Moms’ is Fatima Omar Khamissa. She was the victim of an abusive relationship for 21 years and had 5 children. One of these children even suffered from cerebral palsy. When she decided to leave her husband and kids, she had no resources and financial stability to support herself. But she didn’t lose hope and started her own business with patience and optimism.

Now, through ‘Spiritual Biz Moms’ Fatima is able to help many mothers who want to start their own business. Her aim is to prove to the world that women can be as excellent in entrepreneurship as they are with managing their homes. Not only is she working for giving a new life to others but she is actually doing quite a commendable job in women empowerment as well.
