Interesting Tree Silhouettes

I also like capturing silhouettes of tree branches.  These are trees that grow in the front yard of the Bogor Presidential Palace (West Java, Indonesia).

Trees on the Edge of a Toll Road

There’s a long line of trees along one side of the toll road. I don’t know the name of those trees but they create interesting silhouettes that afternoon.  

  

A Durian Tree

The tree located beside the house of my father in law. The half-finished house in the pic belongs to my brother in law. Two separate houses are united in one area -under one fence and gate. Unfortunately, a big unripe fruit fell down of broken branch.

Trees on a Graveyard

Last week I spent a few days in my husband’s hometown to visit my father in law and mother in law’s grave. I saw lots of frangipani trees on the cemetery. We call frangipani as kamboja here. Their intricate branches create strong ambiance.

 

A Tree with Unusual Aboveground Roots

The tree located inside the Bogor Botanical Gardens (Bogor, West Java, Indonesia); close to the famous hanging bridge.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take note of its common and botanic name. This tree has amazing roots!
