Gems Polishing
After
a gemstone is sawed and ground to get the preferred form, and then sanded to eliminate
rough marks; the gemstone will also be polished to a mirror-like finish and aid
light reflection from the stone surface (source:google).
When visiting Jakarta Gems Centre last
week, my husband and I polished our pyrus stone and saw the process at a friend’s
stand.
