Law is a demanding field that requires time, patience, intelligence and plenty of hard work. In past years, men dominated this field, but nowadays, more women find themselves excelling in this wonderful field. Here are a few examples from Carter Capner of the most influential women in law:

She was allowed to take the bar exam thanks to her impressive test scores in school, which is amazing because there was a law that only allowed white males over 21 to take the exam. Karen DeCrow: Karen, who was also a female rights activist, started her career as a journalist in 1969. Later in her life, she became a sought-after attorney and became the first female mayoral candidate in New York. Karen was a firm believer in gender equality and spent her life fighting for equal rights, which is why she earned respect from several solicitors.
