Sky Watch : Ciremai Mountain Peak

Ciremai Mountain or Cereme Mountain -with 3,078 m high- is West Java's Indonesia tallest mountain and is still an active symmetrical stratovolcano.  A 4.5 × 5 km wide of the Geger Halang caldera is found at the peak. Eruptions are relatively rare in historical time, the last eruption happened in 1805. The name Cereme or Ciremai is derived from Sundanese word for Otaheite gooseberry fruits (source:Wikipedia).
For Sky Watch Friday, I captured the mountain peak that I saw from the front of a hotel in Kuningan, West Java, Indonesia.  The sky was bright and clear that morning; the mountain was able to seen from faraway.
