Whispering Sands

Another wonderful spot in the Bromo National Park (East Java, Indonesia). Located near the savanna area, this sandy valley got the name, after the place was used for a shooting location of a famous Indonesia movie (2001) titled ‘Pasir Berbisik’ (Whispering Sands).

Looks like it might have been formed by volcanic activity.

Beautiful scenes. The sands seem to be tinged with tones of mauve. Fascinating.

A beautiful barren valley but after what happen in Japan's sudden eruption,it seems scary.
