Nostalgia #7: Memorable Cross Stitch Paintings
My late mother liked to spend her times by making cross stitch paintings. I share here two of her art works. One is hang on my father’s bed room wall and the other on the dining room wall. Every time I see these cross stitches, I always remember my mother; especially the one with coast view. It took long time for her to finish it. Her illness made her sight became worse; I remember that she had ever given up finishing it; but then she started it again.

My uncle made a big Belle cross stitch for my niece. I would love to have one too :)
I used to love doing cross stitches before! Most of the hanging things on our living room walls are actually cross stitched pictures made by me. Now that we had internet, I cannot seem to go back cross stitching again.
My share of nostalgia is up HERE.
i made a lot of cross stitching too back home.
i ma sure your mom is very doing the cross stitch knowing that you will take good care of it and will remind you of her too.
I was addicted to cross stitching when I got pregnant with my daughter since I don't have anything to do. I resigned from my job to take care of my pregnancy solely. I'll share mine later hehehe.
I love both of your Mom's she really did a great job on those!
I love the second one!

Hi There, I love seeing those works of your mom. It's fascinating! I used to do cross stiched artworks before but not anymore coz it's tedious :) BTW, I will add your link to my list if that's ok with you.

i admire people who have the patience to do cross-stitching. my BFF who is now living in Canada used to cross-stitch and she gave me 2 framed works for my birthday--they were labor of love.
