Today is my
father’s birthday. When he’s still here with us, we always celebrate it by
eating out at a special place. He has passed away about four months ago. I
believe that my father and mother are already peaceful together now.
Our Amaryllis is only
blooming once a year. Last year, the blooms were welcoming my father’s home,
after more than a week at a hospital. I remember seeing his happy and surprised
face.
This year, this
plant is also blooming at the perfect date. Yesterday I saw three buds coming
out, and this morning I see one flower is blooming fully, right on my father’s
birthday. I hope my father can see it.
